STRIDE Launch
This is our town, our contribution, our STRIDE
This summer, be part of something truly unique! STRIDE is a collaborative animation project featuring every pupil and staff member from Folkestone Turner Trust Schools, working collaboratively with artist Toby Melville-Brown. Each frame of the walk cycle animation is individually designed, creating a powerful visual journey of community and creativity.
The premier coincides with the start of the 2025 Creative Folkestone Triennial and will be one of three flagship pieces for 2025 Folkestone Fringe, STRIDE celebrates belonging and bridges the gap between local voices and the wider arts scene. Playing on the Big Screen throughout the summer.
The Launch event will feature ‘Live’ art and music from pupils across the Trust as well as the premier of the animation at 5pm.
Art is for everyone—and together, we’re proving it. This is our town, our contribution, our STRIDE
