  • Working Pattern: 4 - 10 hours per week with flexible working hours. An outdoor, customer facing role, helping the Harbour to deliver excellent customer service, playing a key role in the cleanliness and upkeep of the site.

  • A great opportunity to join our team of Harbour Operatives to help ensure the smooth operational running of Folkestone Harbour & Seafront.

    This role varies from repairs and maintenance to cleaning to security and will suit someone who wants to continue to develop their skills and also learn new skills. You must be an all-rounder successfully able to turn your hand to any task.

  • Title: Bar Team

    Hours available/work pattern: Spring/Summer, Monday - Sunday - Flexible

    Duties include: Serving drinks with a smile, stocking bar, clearing up & maintaining a safe environment to work, clean down & opening duties at the start and end of shifts

    Pay: £12 p/h

  • Position: Kitchen & bar staff

    Working pattern: full time and part time positions available

    Duties: customer service, cleaning, kitchen work.

    Is experience required? Yes, at least one year.

  • Position: Kitchen Team

    Hours available: Full (5 shifts a week) and part time positions (3 shifts a week available)

    Duties include: taking orders, serving drinks, general food prep and kitchen cleaning, making sushi, poké bowls etc (full training given to successful candidates)

  • Title: Bartender

    Hours available/work pattern: full-time/part time positions available

    Duties include: setting up the venue for service- serving drinks

    Is experience required? No experience required training will be given

  • Position: Barista

    Hours Available: Part Time Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

    Duties include: serving coffee, pre made sandwiches and clearing tables.

    Experience required: We are looking for someone with coffee making experience. If no experience then someone with energy and confidence dealing with customers.

  • Position: Brand Assistant

    Work pattern: 16 hours across Saturdays and Sundays

    Duties include: taking the lead on manning the marketplace hut, great customer service and restocking.

    Retail experience is preferred but not essential.

  • Position: Catering staff

    Work pattern: weekend work and full time positions available

    Duties include: responsible for preparing and cooking fresh pizza on-site. Duties also include setting up wood-fired ovens, stretching dough, topping pizzas, and ensuring quality. Additionally, they handle cleaning tasks related to the cooking area and equipment, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable pizza experience for event attendees.

    Kitchen Staff: Imagine those beautiful summer evenings, when your friends and families are BBQing, or in a beautiful harbour bar, sipping their favourite tipple and texting you to join them. The weekends away making the most of the beautiful warm evenings – just relaxing with lovely company and freshly prepared meals.
    Now forget them – as we are there to make those memories for others – and we are madly passionate to do it brilliantly!
    But – we can’t do it alone- and we are looking for a highly unique individual to join our food team. We rate passion, enthusiasm, and energy over experience. We can (and will) train you in all things BaoBoba – but you need to be realistic about the demands of the business and the role.
    There are no prima-donnas in our team – we all do everything but at the same time, have fun! Everyone is on display to our adoring public -and are just as much part of the offer as our food and drinks – so be prepared to be ‘front and centre’ of all we do.
