The Board Room
In our ongoing mission to Reinvent the English Seaside Experience, we’re proud to introduce The Board Room; Kent’s most beautiful competitive socialising venue and Folkestone Harbour’s largest ever venue. Developed in collaboration with Iron Pier Brewery, this is a taproom with something a bit special; breathtaking views and fun, innovative ways to come together.
A staple at competitive socialising venues across London and Scandinavia, we’re incredibly proud to be the only location in the Southeast to host Fly By Darts. A classic pub past time taken to the next level with state-of-the-art tech, this is darts revolutionised. Have your skills tracked and tabulated across a number of thrilling, interactive games; from the quintessential 501 to high stakes Killer, with easy-to-follow rules. Beautifully designed and held within a solid wood cabinet, these classic cork boards combine an authentic style with innovative technology.
The Board Room will be home to two handcrafted, 18ft shuffleboard tables from innovative industry leaders SHUFL. These beautifully designed boards, made from Canadian Maple, feature a unique curved playing surface, adding an entirely new dimension to the game and ensuring a fun experience for players of all ability. Play the curve and have more fun as a beginner or perfect your skills performing some beautifully arched shots across our 18ft tables.
The Boardroom, developed in collaboration with Gravesend based brewery Iron Pier, is home to two 18ft, Canadian Maple Shuffleboard from industry leaders SHUFL as well as four state-of-the-dart, classically designed digital dartboards from Flyby darts. A staple at competitive socialising venues across London and Scandinavia, we’re incredibly proud to be the only location in the Southeast to host these innovative yet instantly recognisable dart boards.
Iron Pier are bringing their love of brewing to The Boardroom to create a stunning experience. Responsible for a number of already much-loved brews, The Boardroom will see them bring in a impressive array of local spirts and wines to suit all tipple tastes.

The Board Rooms bar from Iron Pier is open to all, but we highly recommend booking to play the Shuffleboard or Darts. We do allow walk-ins if we have availability, but we don’t want you to be disappointed. You can book here.

Flyby Darts is booked per person. Each booking can host a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 players.
The prices for our dart booths are below.
60 minute booking: £8 per person
90 minute booking: £12 per person
120 minute booking: £16 per person

Each table can have a minimum of 2 and maximum of 8 players. The cost per table is:
60 minutes: £20
90 minutes: £30
120 minutes: £40

Flyby dart boards use state-of-the-art technology to track your performance. Specially designed darts are part of this, so unfortunately your own darts won’t work.

Please check with staff. If there is availability, they will be able to extend your session for you.

You are welcome to have a drink in the bar before your time slot / game time rolls around. Should you wish to go straight to your game please arrive 5 mins before to allow time for orientation and briefings.

All games are booked to a specific time slot so there shouldn’t be any waiting time. If you are a walk in guest, please check with the bar team on the next available game.

Each shuffleboard table and darts booth can accept a max group of 8 per booking, and you’re able to book multiple tables or booths at the same time.

The venue has disabled access and facilities. Shuffleboard is 100% Accessible, Darts is Accessible however some may find it difficult to play due to the height of the boards.

Under 18s are welcome to play Shuffleboard as long as accompanied by an Adult (18 Years or Over).
Darts are strictly over 18s only.
The Board Room operates a Challenge 25 Policy, so ID is required for anyone wishing to purchase alcohol.

We have a max of 8 players for each game of shuffleboard and darts boards. You’re able to book across multiple tables for larger groups.

We use Speed 4 Powder. This contains no nutshell at all and poses no risk to players. There is still a warning message on the packaging stating it ‘may contain nuts’ but this is only because it’s made in the same factory as the other powders. There are no nuts or nutshell ingredients in speed 4 powder.

Yes, the sharing platters have been designed to shared amongst your party mid game. Tuck in and enjoy.

Yes completely! The Board Room is fully accessible to enjoy whether or not you’re playing the games.

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your gaming or area booking your pre-payment will not be refunded. We ask all gamers to arrive a minimum of 15 mins before your game time, if you are running late then please let us know. We can only hold your gaming area for 15 minutes and we cannot guarantee your full booking length. After this time we cannot guarantee your booking, however we will do our best to fit you in if we can.
Pre-Payments are non-refundable.
Please note that if you are personally ejected from the venue for any reason you will not be able to claim a refund on your pre-payment or any in venue spend.
Cancellation Policy (Advanced Bookings)
Partial refunds not available for any advance payment.
The Board Room cannot provide re-funds withing 48 hours of scheduled time.
The Board Room cannot provide a postponement of your booking within 48 hours.
Bookings made less than 48 hours before scheduled time are non-refundable.
Please note that we are unable to process refund or credit for any last-minute changes, such as a reduction in the number of guests.
All postponed bookings are subject to the above based on the original scheduled date.
Please be aware that by completing your reservation, you are accepting our terms and conditions as detailed here.
Increasing the party size prior to arrival requires an additional payment per additional guest.Age Restrictions
