Planning Your Visit

  • From the M20, leave the motorway at Junction 13 and follow the signs for Folkestone Harbour. There is parking available on site as well as several alternative car parks in the locality.
  • To view parking charges and to pay online, visit the Folkestone parking website here.
  • The nearest station is Folkestone Central. The walk to the Harbour Arm is approximately 25 minutes and is signposted for pedestrians.
    There are 2 bus routes from Folkestone Central station to Folkestone Harbour that run regularly, the 102 and 103.
  • The closest bus stop is on Marine Parade, serviced by buses 102 and 103. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the Old High Street serviced by buses 72, 100, 101 and 102. Folkestone’s main bus station is in the centre of town, a 15 minute walk away. More information about bus services to Folkestone Harbour can be found here
    During the Summer Crosskey’s Reach the Beach services runs daily from Folkestone West. stopping at Folkestone Central, F51, The Old High Street and Folkesotne Harbour. For more information click here
  • All eateries accept card payments.

    Once you have purchased your food, you can enjoy it anywhere on site in the outdoors. At indoor businesses, only food and drink purchased from that business is permitted.

  • Dogs are welcomed but need to be on a lead at all times and cleaned up after. Dogs are not allowed in all indoor establishments.
  • Children should be supervised by a responsible adult.
  • As a year-round visitor attraction there are plenty of indoor locations to try.

    From time to time some areas of the site may be closed due to poor weather conditions, this is everyone’s safety.

  • The Beachside play area is designed to be used by children under 10 years of age who must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Accessibility Information

  • Folkestone Harbour is a historic site; however, the majority of Folkestone Harbour is accessible by all users. Ramps and slopes have been installed to allow access to a vast majority of the sight. Where there is not direct access, alternative accessible routes are available for users in wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

    The boardwalk is not recommended for use with wheelchair or mobility scooter.

    Folkestone Harbour maintain an accessible route between Fountain Square and Folkestone Harbour.

    Most restaurants and bars with internal seating spaces are accessible by ramp at the entrance to the business where necessary, please check with individual businesses about their provisions.

  • There is a number of designated disabled parking spaces for blue badge holders across the car park. These are marked on the floor of the bay and are available on a first come first served basis.

    Standard parking tariffs still apply to blue badge holders.

  • There are a number of accessible toilets located across Folkestone Harbour, they can be found at:
    Platform 2 in the Harbour Station
    The Goods Yard
    Platform 4 on the Harbour Arm

    There are also accessible toilets in Sailbox, The Board Room, Brewing Brothers Beachside, and Little Rock (these toilets are for customer use only).

  • Subtitles will be displayed during all film screenings.

    Please check individual sporting events to see if subtitles will be on.

  • Assistance dogs are welcome across site and in all business at Folkestone Harbour.
