About the artists:

Alice Gretton

Alice Gretton is an award winning spoken word artist from Canterbury, Kent. Alice has performed across the UK, won the United Kingdomʼs Young Artist Award in 2018 and was Kentʼs Poet for National Poetry Day 2019, featuring on BBC Radio Kent and BBC Radio 4ʼs The Verb.

Lenni Coffey

Lenni is a Folkestone-based singer-songwriter playing acoustic folk with hints of Americana on the ukulele. With influences including Feist, Regina Spektor, Phoebe Bridgers and Laura Marling, her lyric-rich songs explore themes of heartbreak and relationships, as well as the experience of finding home in a new place.

Aaron Taylor

A man with many strings to his bow, Aaron’s poetry finds itself at the unexpected intersection of science, society, mental health and romance. His work ranges from brutally honest self appraisal to thought provoking social commentary to the musings of a future hopeless romantic. Born and raised in South London, his style ranges from UK hip-hop to borderline Shakespeare, delivered with all the gusto his lifelong love of theatrics can muster.
Join us this Thursday for the first of our Cheese, Wine, & Rhyme nights!
