Raphael Mead @ The Tasting Rooms

Live @ The Tasting Rooms

Raphael began his musical career in top London studios, where he was discovered by producer Clive Langer (Madness, Elvis Costello) and later worked with artists such as Morrissey, who even wrote a song about him, “Used to Be a Sweet Boy.” Encouraged by producer Peter Collins (Rush, Bon Jovi), Raphael released his debut album On The Hill in 2007, followed by Ruled by the Heart (2010), Mountain Street (2023), and his latest release The Dancing Flame (2025). His music—created in collaboration with Geoffrey Richardson (Caravan) and Andy Briggs—explores themes of love, loss, and life’s fragility, with The Dancing Flame drawing inspiration from the legend of The Reculver Towers in Herne Bay.
