Jewellery handmade at the hut! Classic and one of a kind pieces in silver and gold, often incorporating cultured freshwater pearls, along with precious and semi-precious stones.
Enjoying her second year at the harbour, Aimi will be at her workbench creating jewellery by hand, using traditional silversmithing methods. She has designed collections of coastal inspired jewellery, many pieces being sea treasures that she has sourced from Folkestone’s own beaches. Aimi captures the natural simplicity of shells and the organic beauty of seaweed and forms them into eye catching wearable silver jewellery.
Aimi proudly uses recycled silver and gold, as sustainability is at the forefront of the inSilver ethos. This has no detrimental effect to the jewellery, but positively alleviates the need for the silver and gold mines along with the environmental impact and human rights issues this can cause. Aimi is mindful on the subject of waste and avoids single use plastics wherever possible. The luxurious inSilver gift boxes are made from eco friendly FSC Certified cardboard meaning that these along with our paper bags are recycled and recyclable and our specially selected Nativia cellophane bags are fully compostable.
