Turner Schools Green Action Community Day
Throughout 2026, 3,000 young local Eco Champions are undertaking hundreds of green projects including beach and town clean ups, growing and gardening projects such as digging ponds and planting trees, using recycling to inspire artworks, making eco-care packages & podcasts as well as taking part in active travel initiatives.
Young people across eight schools, aged two to 18 years in Folkestone, Dover and Canterbury, part of the Turner Schools Trust are spearheading mass sustainable green action throughout 2026 culminating in a free community event at the Goods Yard on The Harbour Arm on Thursday 16 July 2026 at 2pm.
All are welcome to the event which will showcase the project with film, performances and community participation.
