Section 8 Band is a female-fronted, high-energy ska and reggae-influenced group known for their explosive live performances and ‘covers on steroids’ — supercharged renditions of classics that get crowds moving. Blending original music with powerful, horn-driven covers, they create a unique sound that fuses upbeat ska rhythms with deep reggae grooves. Regularly featured on BBC Radio Kent’s Sounds, Section 8 has built a reputation for tight musicianship, infectious energy, and unforgettable shows. Performing at venues and festivals across the UK, they’ve earned a loyal following everywhere they play.
