Folkestone Funny Fest
Our First Stand Up Comedy Festival
This September, The Goods Yard will transform for two nights as we host our first ever stand-up comedy event. Across two shows, 10 fantastic comedians will take to the stage for two nights of entertainment unlike anything we’ve ever hosted before.
Friday 9th September
Ed Byrne (headlining), Andrew Maxwell, Jen Brister, Huge Davies and Sophie Duker.
Saturday 10th September
Simon Brodkin AKA Lee Nelson (headlining), Laura Lexx, Rob Deering, Helen Bauer and Tom Ward.
Event Location
By purchasing a ticket to Folkestone Funny Fest you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions as set out below. Folkestone Funny Fest reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any ticket holder in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
Tickets / Admission / Security
All ticket sales are final. Once purchased, tickets will not be refunded.
Folkestone Funny Fest is not responsible for lost or damaged tickets. Tickets cannot be collected or printed at the venue.
The Goods Yard is an outdoor venue. Events will only be cancelled in the event that there is a risk to health and safety. Please come prepared for the elements.
Our shows carry an age limit of 16+, under 18’s accompanied by an adult. Folkestone Funny Fest reserves the right to request that ticket holders provide proof of age when entering the event.
Ticket holders will not be admitted to the Event after 20:00.
Re-entry will not be permitted once your ticket has been redeemed.
Folkestone Funny Fest reserves the right to refuse admission of, or remove from the event and/or venue, persons whose conduct is illegal, likely to cause damage, injury, or nuisance, or who fail to comply with any reasonable request from a representative of the event.
To ensure safety, Folkestone Funny Fest may conduct security searches and reserve the right to confiscate items which may cause danger or disruption to the event or others.
Alcohol
Ticket holders must be 18 years of age to purchase and consume alcohol. A challenge 21 policy will be in place for all alcohol sales at the Venue.
General/Misc.
Folkestone Funny Fest reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute the advertised acts without prior notice.
Recording equipment of any kind is strictly prohibited. No recording or filming of any show is permitted.
By attending the event, you give your express consent to your actual or simulated likeness being included with any audio/or visual recording to be used in any media for any purpose at any time.
Commercial, promotional and trading activities are not permitted at the venue without express prior written permission from Folkestone Funny Fest.
Dogs are welcomed but need to be on a lead at all times and cleaned up after.
Liability
Admission to the Event is at the ticket holder’s own risk. Folkestone Funny Fest is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person or property, howsoever caused, to the ticket holder, except where the law prevents exclusion or limitation of liability.
