Go Dutch
Go Dutch offer an incredible array of mussels served in styles for all palates
From traditional moules mariniere steamed in white wine with garlic, cream and parsley – to Thai, Arriabatta, Bacon, Spanish versions and more. The Dutch version comes infused with celery, carrots, curry and cider (wow!). And to follow your delicious seafood dish, why not try some poffertjes. These are traditional Dutch pancakes served with sweet toppings, finished with soft sugar and butter.
Go Dutch first joined the Arm at the end of the first season and have been offering their unique take on Dutch classic dishes since; perfecting a food offering that’s ideal for enjoying plotted up on a bench, surrounded by sea with vistas of France and cliffs beyond. And since the mussels are sourced from Folkestone’s own trawler fleet in the harbour, there’s a particular sense of connection to place – which makes food so much more enjoyable.
