Launching in 2022, the Folkestone Marketplace is home to 35 fisherman style huts, housing an eclectic blend of market creatives and traders.
We’re looking for creatives, producers, makers, brands and artisans of all shapes and sizes to populate Folkestone Marketplace. Whether you’ve got a space already or are looking for a home for your passion project, Folkestone Marketplace is ready to welcome a community of new traders for 2024.

Summer Marketplace 2024:
Open March 2nd until October 27th 2024, our Marketplace is open from 11am-6pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays as a minimum.
For the first time, traders will be able to trade up to 5 days a week (or 7 during school holidays) from April to September, in line with the Goods Yard trading hours. Weekday trading is flexible and optional, and available with an additional charge.
Applications to the Folkestone Summer Marketplace are available to be made in monthly periods, and not available for single days or weekends. If you are interested in a single day or weekend pop-up, please specify when applying.
Festive Marketplace 2024:
The Festive Marketplace 2024 is due to open on Friday 15th November 2024, opening Fridays from 4-8pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-6pm.
Due to Christmas Day falling on a Wednesday, the Festive Marketplace 2024 will be open 2 more additional days; 11am-6pm on Monday 23rd December, and 11am-4pm Tuesday 24th December.
Applications for the Festive Marketplace 2024 are available to be made for either full season (six weeks) sign up, or the first or second half (three weeks) of the season.

Folkestone Marketplace is very well placed on our site. Adjoining the incredibly popular Goods Yard creates a hub of events, street food and retail that visitors could enjoy and explore all day.
Folkestone Marketplace is home to a community of 35 independent makers, creatives, businesses, brands, and creatives.
Each 3m x 3m hut has internal lighting with 2 double plug sockets.
The site is fully enclosed and locked up outside of opening hours.

Costs Breakdown:
(Saturdays, Sundays, & Bank Holidays, 11am-6pm)March (Open only 12pm-4pm prior to Easter Weekend): £250 +VAT
April - September (Full Season, All Months): £280 +VAT
April - September (Single Month): £400 +VAT
April - September (Two consecutive months): £350 +VAT
October (Open only 12pm-4pm): £200 +VAT
Monthly add on License to allow trade in line with the Goods Yard opening (5 day/7 day school holidays): £125 +VAT
The monthly add on license is available for April - September only, and can be added at any time during your time in the Market.Festive Marketplace 2024:

Costs for trading for the Festive Marketplace 2024 is £200 +VAT per weekend of trading for all weeks other than the final weekend. The last week of the Festive Marketplace will cost £330 +VAT, due to two extra days of trading on the 23rd and 24th December 2024.

We offer space for single day or weekend retail pop-ups, at the center of our Marketplace during the summer season. Costs for pop-ups will be calculated on an individual basis, depending on the size and requirements.
