Helen Sharp Jewellery
Handmade jewellery from recycled metals where the silver comes from NHS xray films, the gold and copper from electrical components. Helen designs and creates all her pieces in her studio just outside Folkestone.
Helen has been making jewellery for 6 years. It was a hobby taken on to relieve the stress of looking after her terminally ill father. He saw her first ring, but wasn’t around to see the rest so her hallmark bears hers and his initials.
Helen has now been exhibiting in various art shows across the county and has a large London following for her work. But Folkestone holds a special place in her heart, and she is a sentimental old thing, so Folkestone Harbour is the only place to find her in the run up to Christmas. She’ll be demonstrating how to create certain items in Hut 30.
